Nick FolesThe Eagles’ Week 17 matchup against the Giants may be Michael Vick‘s last game in an Eagles uniform, and he’ll likely be starting.

Philadelphia’s starting quarterback, Nick Foles, suffered a broken hand during the first half of the Eagles’ 27-20 loss to the Redskins on Sunday. Andy Reid announced Foles would not play in Week 17.

“Nick will obviously not play,” Reid said during Monday’s news conference. “This was something that showed up on the MRI this morning, it wasn’t present on the X-ray.

“There’s a pretty good chance Michael will be the starter. That’s what we’re looking at right now. That’s the direction I’m going as we speak right now.”

Foles has shown promise during his rookie season, as he’s led the Eagles to a 1-5 record while throwing for 1,699 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s completed 60.8 percent of his passes.

Vick has been with the Eagles for four seasons. He’s started 33 games and has led Philly to an 18-15 record. His best season came in 2010 when he completed 62.6 percent of his passes for 3,018 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Vick has reportedly shown interest in playing with the Jets next season, and Rex Ryan supposedly “loves” the QB.
