Raiders fans have a reputation for being among the scariest fans in the NFL. But during Oakland’s Thursday night loss to teh Broncos, one fan’s actions were more frightening than the “Black Hole’s” skull and crossbones shoulder pads.

Shortly before the scheduled kickoff on Thursday night, a Raiders fan reportedly jumped from the third level of the Oakland Coliseum and is now listed in serious condition at a local hospital, according to the Oakland Tribune. The fan’s name has not been released at this time.

The Raiders released a statement via NBC Bay Area on Twitter.

This is just the most recent in a rash of incidents involving fans being injured — or in the case of one Texas Rangers fan, killed — from falls at professional sports stadiums. On Saturday, a fan fell over 40 feet from the fourth-floor ramp at the Georgia Dome during the ACC championship game between Georgia Tech and Florida State.
