Robert Parish Put 1986 Celtics NBA Championship Ring Up for Auction (Photos)

It’s always sad when legendary players have to auction off their memorabilia, but for the right price, you can own a piece of Boston sports history.

Robert Parish is selling his 1986 NBA Championship ring on Grey Flannel Auctions. The 1986 Celtics are known as one of the best teams in NBA history. The team featured Parish, Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Dennis Johnson, Danny Ainge and Bill Walton, among others.

Parish averaged 16.1 points per game that season, with 9.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. The auction ends on Wednesday. The current bid is $18,997.
