Bruins Pick Up Big Win in Carolina Thanks to ‘Power Trip’ Led by Penalty Kill (Video)

The Bruins hadn’t won against the Hurricanes in quite some time, and they hadn’t won at all on the road entering Monday night. Now, they can check both of those tasks off their to-do list.

Zdeno Chara tallied three points to lead the Bruins to a 5-3 win over Carolina in yet another entertaining, back-and-forth grind of a game closer than the score would indicate. Tyler Seguin‘s empty-netter padded the margin of victory, but make no mistake — the Bruins battled for these two points.

For his goal and two assists setting the tone, Chara is our “Power Trip” player of the game. Who’s yours?
