Milan LucicThe Bruins and Sabres didn’t like each other very much a season ago, and chances are, the Sabres are still pretty unhappy with a few members of the Black and Gold.

Last year, the teams fought a total of six times. The B’s fought the Flyers more times (eight) last season, but with five matchups against Buffalo during this year’s 48-game schedule, things can get pugilistically chaotic awfully fast.

Let’s backtrack to how things got awesomely sour a year ago. For starters, Buffalo fans will never forgve B’s winger Milan Lucic for his hit on goalie Ryan Miller back on Nov. 12, 2011. This hit sparked some bad blood between the two clubs, as they’d throw down in some spirited matchups throughout the year.

Paul Gaustad did his best to do give Lucic some payback just a 11 days after Lucic and Miller’s dust-up, but it wouldn’t end there. Check out a gallery of last season’s bad blood between the Sabres and Bruins below.

Oh, and by the way… Steve Ott is a Sabre. Enjoy the show, ladies and gentlemen.
