Gary KubiakThe NFL regular season absolutely flew by, and as we shake off our literal and figurative hangovers and welcome 2013, we also welcome the NFL playoffs.

There’s a full slate of games this weekend, featuring some very interesting matchups. The weekend slate also features a few teams like the Packers, Texans and Ravens, who are likely all kicking themselves for not doing enough to secure one of the coveted first-round byes.

All three will play home games this weekend, but that doesn’t mean they’re locks to reach the divisional round. NESN.com editors Mike Cole and Ricky Doyle go without first-round byes as well, and they’re back yet again with their weekly picks.
