Packers Must Find Way to Win on Road One Week After Thrilling Home Crowd at Lambeau Field (Video)

The Packers can’t afford to think about what-ifs this time of the season, but as they head out on the road this week for the NFC divisional round, they do so knowing that they should be hosting a game this weekend. Of course, that infamous Week 3 “Fail Mary” call cost the Pack a win and a chance at a bye and a home game in the divisional round.

Green Bay did get to host a home game last week, but it was unlikely that it would be a walk in the park. The Packers were faced with having to take on their longtime divisional rival, the Minnesota Vikings. As they always do, Vikings fans traveled well, making the pilgrimage to Lambeau Field in Green Bay to watch their team. Two of the league’s oldest and most storied teams were facing off in front of two of the most loyal fan bases in one of football’s most sacred cathedrals.

The Packers had their way with the Vikings, meaning Green Bay fans would head home happy. Before the game, however, there was no denying that everyone was the winner with a crazy tailgate scene outside the stadium.

Expect those same Packers fans to travel well again this week with the Packers traveling to San Francisco to take on the 49ers. Before that happens, though, check out the scene from Lambeau last weekend in the video above.
