Patriots Take Bye Week to Fix Themselves Before Moving on to First Playoff Opponent (Video)

The bye week can be a complicated one for NFL teams. With no opponent to prepare for, practice becomes much different. For the Patriots this week, they worked on themselves. And despite a 12-4 record, they apparently had a lot to work on.

Tom Brady told the media Thursday the team was given a packet on what they had to do better. Wide receiver Deion Branch also mentioned that the team was working on things they need to improve on.

The Patriots now face a three-day weekend, and they’re going into it as healthy as you could expect for this time of year. On Wednesday, Brady, Rob Ninkovich and Dont’a Hightower all missed practice. On Thursday, they were all back to work.
