Bill O'BrienThe New England Patriots and the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association (MHSFCA) are joining forces with MasterSports Inc., this year to present the 2013 New England Football Coaches Clinic.

Master Sports is a non-profit corporation that was created to promote the game of football. The organization raises funds for educational scholarships and provides quality instruction for football coaches of all levels to share with other coaches through the clinic.

“MasterSports has always represented football well and given back to those who played and coached the game,” said MHSFCA past president and Framingham High School head coach Gary Doherty. “To have MasterSports with us is to bring more credibility to what many believe to be the best clinic in New England.”

The New England Football Coaches Clinic will be held March 8-9 at Gillette Stadium. The two days will be filled with over 32 hours of clinics and breakout sessions as well as a keynote address delivered by Penn State head coach, Bill O’Brien. Prior to leading the Nittany Lions to an 8-4 record and winning ESPN’s National Coach of the Year award, the Paul “Bear” Bryant College Coach of the Year award and being named the Big Ten Coach of the Year, O’Brien served as the quarterbacks coach and the offensive coordinator for the Patriots.

O’Brien will join coaches from UMass, BC, UConn and many more schools at the Clinic.
