Boston is the world’s biggest sports city so it should be no surprise that the town’s biggest appetizer sampler has claimed the title of Boston’s Best Sports Bar Dish.

In one of the closest votes from the entire five-week feature, The North Star’s Joey Chestnut Sampler edged CBS Scene’s Pastrami Burger by less than one percent.

With voting ending on Monday afternoon at 12 p.m. ET, The North Star’s fans gave the establishment the title with 1,882 votes to CBS Scene’s 1,863 votes. That’s right, the Joey Chestnut Sampler edged the Pastrami Burger by just 0.25 percent.

“I want to thank all of our loyal sports fans and customers that voted,” The North Star’s Jeff Hammel said in an E-mail. “Special thanks to NESN for putting this together and to all the other Boston sports bars that competed. We’re looking forward to celebrating the win with everyone that voted for us soon!”

Check out the video and final bracket below and next time you stop by, offer a big congrats to Conor Kelly, Hammel, chef Javier Basquez and everyone else over at The North Star!
