AARP Gives Michael Jordan a Membership Card on 50th Birthday (Photo)

All those jokes about Michael Jordan being ready for his AARP card? Well, AARP didn’t miss its cue.

The association for retired folks — a status that Jordan has technically held for several years now — was ready to go the minute Jordan turned 50, giving him his own membership card and putting his face on the cover of its magazine.

Lest Jordan start feeling too old, though, AARP did send another tweet letting him know that, while he may be eligible for the senior discount, he’ll still be remembered the way he probably prefers.
