Meet Eddie.
Eddie is a 16-year-old sea otter living at the Oregon Zoo. He was rescued off the California coast some years ago. He’s getting up there in years, and now he’s dealing with a bit of arthritis in his old age. He also knows how to dunk a basketball.
To help relieve Eddie’s arthritis in his elbow, trainers at the zoo encouraged the furry little fella to play basketball in order to keep his joints moving. He was a quick learner, and now it appears he’s a grizzled vet. With the trade deadline right around the corner, the Trail Blazers might want to give him a look sooner rather than later.
