It would be really easy to make a joke here about the Clippers stinking. But they’re actually good this year, so instead we’re going to make a joke about how Avon is something that our moms sell each other over lunch when they’re not having Tupperware parties.

Anyway, Chris Paul is now at the celebrity star basketball player level where he gets to have his own perfume — er, fragrance — and Avon is the company selling it. Avon, which clearly has “the company for women” written across its website, announced Thursday that Paul’s new fragrance, “Untouchable,” will be launching this Father’s Day.

“A legend in the making, Paul — husband, proud father of two and founder of the CP3 Foundation — represents the future of basketball and the power of the will to win,” Avon’s news release says. “The new scent will capture the thrill of hitting the court when the crowd is going wild, sinking the game-winning shot and bringing home victory.”

Paul is marketing the new smell with the help of his son, known around the NBA as CP4. The fragrance will be available only through Avon representatives, as all Avon products are.

“The drive to win is what gets me out of bed every morning,” Paul said in the news release. “This new scent with Avon will capture the competitive attitude that motivates me to play my best on and off the court.”

Smells like a winner already. Check out Paul’s video for the fragrance launch — with his son, Chris — in the video below.
