Suffice to say, 2012 was a bizarre season for Dustin Pedroia and the Red Sox.

After an uncharacteristic losing campaign experienced by the scrappy second baseman, Pedroia went home and, according to him, had a relatively normal offseason. Nonetheless, Pedroia says that, despite what happened last year, the expectations for himself and the team are just as high as they ever were, and he’s happy to be back on a diamond and readying for the new season.
