The attraction between Dennis Rodman and North Korea may indeed be mutual.

On Monday, the news emerged that the former rebounding bad boy would be heading to the politically isolated country to engage in some “basketball diplomacy,” and convince the country to go a peaceful route — which would certainly conflict with its nuclear ambitions. By Wednesday, Rodman had apparently arrived in the country, and while he was publicly espousing his hope for meeting North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un, the country was pledging its “bitter hatred” for the United States.

But maybe not so much Rodman, personally.

On Wednesday, a picture apparently taken in the 1990s emerged of Kim wearing a Bulls Rodman No. 91 jersey. Unfortunately we don’t have too much context for the photograph, but it does appear to be authentic.
