The Heat have star power. Match that with the city of Miami, and celebrities can often be seen inside the American Airlines Arena.
During Sunday’s matinee matchup against the Lakers, rapper Lil Wayne (whose “real” name is Dwayne Carter) was in attendance, but not for long.
Carter claimed that he was tossed from the game because he was rooting for Los Angeles, and he took to Twitter to let his millions of followers know about the injustice.
“Would [you] believe they got police [to] make me leave?!” Lil Wayne tweeted. “Wow!”
Considering all the drama that appears to follow him in basketball arenas, it appears that Carter might want to tread carefully the next time he takes in an NBA game.
