On Wednesday, a sect of hockey’s elite gathered in Cambridge for the 11th annual Face Off for Ace event, a part of the Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation. Over the years, the gathering has raised about $1.5 million for the Floating Hospital for Children.

However, charity wasn’t the exclusive topic on the tongues of the attendees, as NESN Daily‘s Jamison Coyle caught up with hockey legend, and former Rangers captain, Mark Messier for some rivalry talk. The six-time Stanley Cup champion won’t commit to naming New York and Boston as the best team in the Eastern Conference, but he does think the two squads will find each other in the playoffs.

Check out Messier’s thoughts in the video above.
