Michael Phelps has conquered the swimming world, and now he’s trying his hand at baseball — or batting practice at least.

Phelps is a “non-roster invitee” at Baltimore Orioles camp on Thursday, according to Jon Morosi of FoxSports.com. The Olympic gold medalist arrived at the Orioles’ spring training facility at 10:30 a.m. He’s wearing No. 18 for the number of gold medals he’s won.

We last saw Phelps hobnobbing with the Ravens after their AFC Championship win over the Patriots. The Towson, Md., native is a big Baltimore sports fan.

Check out the photo below of Phelps checking in with outfielder Adam Jones before taking batting practice.
