The Red Sox truck has arrived in Florida at last, meaning spring training and all the fun and expectations that come with it can finally begin.
But current Red Sox players and team personnel aren’t the only ones popping up in Florida this week as baseball shakes off winter — old pitching hand Pedro Martinez is also around. The former Sox legend has signed up to work as a special assistant for the team, and he is back in Boston colors as baseball begins this week.
