Ray Allen“Jesus Shuttlesworth” may not be the only character Ray Allen plays after all.

Allen, who captured a role in Spike Lee‘s He Got Game in 1998, may go down the acting road once again when his NBA career is all said and done.

“Oh, yes,” Allen said when asked if he wants to act after the NBA. “It’s just something that’s going to keep me busy and something that can challenge you and keep you focused on a daily basis.’’

The 37-year-old shooting guard may have a championship ring, but one day there may come a time where the former Celtic will want to win an Oscar.

“You never know,’’the 16-year veteran said about adding an Academy Award to his trophy case. “Crazier things have happened.’’

While playing alongside Miami’s duo of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade on the hardwood is intriguing, a chance to perhaps reunite with the great Denzel Washington might add a sweeter taste to Allen’s second stint in the acting world.
