Torii Hunter HouseTorii Hunter has had himself one busy offseason, that’s for sure.

After inking a two-year, $26 million contract with the Detroit Tigers, Hunter has decided to completely move on from Los Angeles by putting his Newport Beach estate on the market.

The outfielder has listed his Crystal Cove home at $3.975 million. The 4,346 square feet home, which was built in 2006, also features five bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Hunter’s home is in the same community as his former teammate and current Boston Red Sox pitcher John Lackey‘s house. Hunter’s direct neighbor is NBC broadcaster Bob Costas, who recently purchased his Newport Beach mansion for $4.7 million.

Property records indicate Hunter purchased the home for $3.8 million back in 2007 after signing a five-year, $90 million contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. It’s not quite the Beverly Hills mansion Barry Bonds recently listed at $25 million, but whoever purchases the home does get to have some high-class neighbors in Lackey and Costas.
