After meeting with a group of Celtics executives on Saturday, it appears that Boston could be the next landing spot for Greg Oden.
The Celtics are in desperate need of another big man after losing rookie Jared Sullinger for the rest of the season, as he will undergo back surgery. Oden, who hasn’t played the last two seasons due to injuries, is attempting an NBA comeback and the 25-year-old could prove beneficial to the Celtics.
With the loss of Rajon Rondo, the Celts are looking for production from unlikely players, and while signing Oden is a risk, it may be a risk this team needs to take.
