Adrian Wilson hasn’t been a member of the Patriots for long, but he’s already providing one teammate with help in coverage.

Wilson has worn No. 24 throughout his NFL career, but he knew he’d have to do some convincing for the current No. 24 Kyle Arrington to give up his jersey. So, the veteran safety offered Arrington, who recently became a new father, a year’s supply of diapers in exchange for the number.

Well, it looks like Wilson is making good on his promise. The five-time Pro Bowler tweeted out a picture of himself standing with eight massive boxes of Pampers, telling Arrington he was set to ship them his way.

So, with Wilson likely getting that No. 24 from his new teammate, you’ve got to wonder what Arrington will wear next season. He originally sported No. 27 in his first two seasons, but that number now belongs to second-year safety Tavon Wilson. So, maybe No. 23, 25  — ex-teammate Patrick Chung‘s jersey — or a number of other combinations.

Whatever number he decides on, having all those extra diapers on deck will be well worth the swap.
