Bruins Get Passing Marks in Midseason Report Card After Impressive Start to Season (Photos)

Tuukka Rask, Johnny Boychuk, Zdeno Chara, Adam McQuaidIt took the Bruins longer than most, but they have reached the midway point of this NHL season. We sit here on March 13, and the Bruins have played 24 of their 48 games.

The Bruins, thanks to an odd schedule and a blizzard of historic proportions, are the last team in the league to reach the midpoint of the season. However, they’re still near the top of the NHL in points.

All in all, the Bruins look like they’re well on their way to making the Dean’s list at the end of this year. In order for that to happen, however, there are tweaks to be made along the way to make sure that they end up with passing grades on their potential (Stanley Cup) Final.

For now, though, let’s break out the red pens and get cracking on putting together the Bruins’ midseason grades.
