Dante Bichette made the record books when he hit the first home run in Colorado Rockies history in 1993. Twenty years later, he’s back to provide invaluable insight about hitting … and mullets.

Oh, you thought those were mutually exclusive?

As the new Rockies hitting coach, the fan favorite is getting back to the basics and teaching the fundamentals of mullet maintenance. Throughout his major league career, Bichette rocked the business-in-the-front, party-in-the-back hairstyle, and now he’s passing on his knowledge to the youngsters.

Sporting a bald head instead of his signature flow, Bichette shares words of wisdom with current members of the Rockies, advising them to “use it before you lose it.”
