David Krejci Nets Eventual Game-Winner for Bruins After Two Scoreless Periods (Video)

The scoreboard at the First Niagara Center remained unchanged deep into the third period Sunday night, with both the Bruins and Sabres unable to push across a goal.

David Krejci finally changed that with just over seven minutes remaining in the Northeast Division tilt, hammering a Nathan Horton rebound past Buffalo goalie Ryan Miller to give the B’s a 1-0 lead they would not relinquish. Horton added a tally of his own three minutes later, and the Bruins ended their brief road trip with much-needed victory.
