The Shanahammer has dropped again, and it will be costing Harry Zolnierczyk four games’ pay.
That’s the number of games the Philadelphia Flyers forward has been suspended by NHL safety honcho Brendan Shanahan after a reckless hit on Senators defenseman Mike Lundin. Zolnierczyk left his feet to deliver a brutal hit on Lundin during Saturday’s game in Philadelphia, for which he received a game misconduct and a major penalty.
Check out the video to see the hit and to hear an explanation from Shanahan.
