With the instant reaction social media has brought to the sports world, it is no surprise to see fellow athletes sending their condolences to Louisville guard Kevin Ware after he suffered a leg injury that was extremely difficult to watch.
Two athletes who have suffered severe leg injuries in their lives, Joe Theismann and Brian Hartline, both expressed condolences to Ware via Twitter. Former Rutgers defensive tackle Eric LeGrand also expressed his condolences to Ware. LeGrand suffered a severe injury himself in 2010.
With the severity of this injury, it is no surprise that the athletic community is sharing thoughts and prayers with Kevin Ware.
