Kevin Durant Sinks Julius Erving-Style Reverse Layup Against Nuggets (Video)

Is there anything Kevin Durant can’t do?

We’ve seen that the Oklahoma City star can throw down thunderous dunks with the best of them, but Durant showed off the finesse side of his game Friday night in Denver. Driving to the left side of the rim along the baseline, the 6-foot-9 forward maneuvered away from the Nuggets’ Wilson Chandler and JaVale McGee while in midair, pulling the ball down before flipping it in for a layup reminiscent of Julius Erving‘s iconic shot.

The Thunder couldn’t pull out the win, falling 105-103, but Durant’s 25 points kept him in a dead heat for the NBA scoring title, which he’s taken home each of the last three seasons.
