Kobe BryantClippers forward Blake Griffin may not have retaliated when Oklahoma City’s Serge Ibaka literally assaulted his manhood, but Los Angeles’ biggest star, the Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, wants everyone to know what he would have done.

Bryant had thoughts about Ibaka’s controversial hand placement against Griffin in Sunday night’s game, a play that drew a flagrant but no suspension for the Thunder forward.

“I probably would have smacked him in the mouth,” Bryant told reporters at practice Monday. “I would’ve dealt with the pain afterwards.”

Dealing with the pain is, of course, exactly what Griffin did. He hit the deck, and the Thunder went on to win 108-104.

Bryant gets a chance to back up his words Tuesday night. The Lakers play Oklahoma City at 9:30.
