Sacramento Kings v Miami HeatLeBron James didn’t say he would participate in next year’s NBA dunk contest, but he didn’t say he wouldn’t, either.

James spoke with ESPN’s Lisa Salters before Sunday’s Heat-Knicks matchup, and when asked about Magic Johnson’s $1 million offer, King James played coy.

“I don’t have a response yet,” James told Salters. “Tell [Johnson] I’ll get back to him.”

While the 28-year-old James has never been in the dunk contest, he admitted that he has considered it in the past and will consider it again in the future.

“I think about it every year,” James said.

In the meantime, the world will have to survive on James’ dunks in games and before them — which isn’t such a bad consolation prize.
