No, you have not seen the last of Ray Lewis.
The Ravens linebacker and future Hall of Famer has joined ESPN, according to the Worldwide Leader.
The two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and 13-time Pro Bowl selection will join the Monday Night Countdown and Sunday NFL Countdown shows. He’ll also appear alongside Stuart Scott, Trent Dilfer and Steve Young on-site for every Monday Night Football game next season.
“ESPN is such a big part of how fans watch and experience sports, especially the NFL, so I’m excited to join their team,” Lewis said in a statement. “I’m ready to bring the same level of passion to this next phase of my life as I brought to the field during my years as a player. I can’t wait to work with my new teammates, many of whom I’ve already known for years.”
