Mavericks West Suspended BasketballAfter perusing his options, Delonte West has made a decision to go back to Texas. Not the Mavericks or Spurs, though — he’s set to play with the Texas Legends of the NBADL.

West, who has not stepped onto the hardwood since the 2011-12 season, will join the team on Monday, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.

This seems to come as a tough decision for West, since there were previous reports that he didn’t want to join the Legends because Mavericks general manager Mark Cuban would not give the guard a shot at making the NBA roster.

The 29-year-old point guard has averaged 9.6 points, 3.2 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game in his eight-year NBA career.
