While much of the attention on the Patriots this week has gone to the slot receiver position, the team has arguably bigger needs across the rest of its receiving corps.
With Brandon Lloyd possibly on his way out and the hodgepodge of veterans the Patriots used last year unlikely to be the team’s go-to plan this year, the Pats are expected to bring in all types of wide receivers to find a solution for their offense for next season.
The process is reportedly starting with Donald Jones, formerly of the Bills, who will be coming to New England this week, Tim Graham of the Buffalo News reports.

Jones played three years in Buffalo, with his best season being last year, when he started 10 games and had 443 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He also has time on special teams will Buffalo, which could prove useful as New England looks to plug the hole left by return man Wes Welker.
