A.C. GreenChampionship rings in any sport are earned, not given, and to have them stolen — especially when they belong to a hard-working player like former NBA star A.C. Green  it isn’t taken lightly.

Green, who was a three-time champion back in his heyday, was robbed of all three of his rings at his Palos Verdes Estates home, according to the Daily Breeze. Palos Verdes Estates police sergeant Steve Barber said Green deems that the rings were taken by workers he hired to move various belongings into storage. The police are investigating the theft.

The rings were worth $25,000 each. Green won in 1987, 1988 and 2000 — with Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. He retired after the 2001 season.
