Slow Starts Dooming Bruins, Who Need More Urgency to Begin Games (Video)


First there was Toronto. Then there was Toronto again, followed by Montreal and now Philadelphia. For the fourth straight game, the Bruins allowed their opponent to score first, and for the third time in those four games they came away with a loss.

The Bruins skated to a 2-0 deficit before they woke up and Nathan Horton found the back of the net Saturday in Philadelphia, but it was not enough to avoid another defeat. This one, to the lowly Flyers, was hard to forgive.
