T.J. Oshie was the one who let the dogs out, and in this dog-eat-dog world, that might come back to bite him.

The Blues forward is reportedly in hot water after his dogs did some pretty impressive damage to his penthouse apartment in Missouri. According to the Courthouse News Service, Oshie is being sued by his landlord, who is claiming that Oshie’s dogs did $12,000 in damage to the St. Louis-area apartment.

“Defendant, during the lease term,” the complaint reportedly reads, “maintained two dogs which he customarily kept lockout out on the patio. During defendant’s tenancy, said dogs scratched and/or chewed on the custom screens, causing them to suffer irreparable damage necessitating the need for their replacement.”

According to the report, Oshie was paying $3,750 in rent, which makes the $12,000 in damages look pretty tame.
