Trent Richardson isn’t having a good week.
On Wednesday, word came out that the Browns running back would no longer be able to deliver his patented head-first truck into defenders after the NFL passed a new rule saying players couldn’t lead with the crown of their helmets. On Friday, two women filed a civil lawsuit against Richardson, claiming he orchestrated three women to assault the pair, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The lawsuit states that the two women, Krystal Jones and Kathleen Hunter, were verbally assaulted after Richardson ordered the two out of his house in the early hours of March 10. After they slammed Richardson’s door, the 2012 rookie slammed his fist onto the hood of Jones’ car, causing $1,500 in damage.
As Jones and Hunter tried to leave, Richardson stood behind their car and called for his girlfriend, Sevina Fatu, to attack them. Fatu and two unnamed women beat Hunter with their fists and Jones with their fists and feet.
The two called the police and sought medical attention after they were able to get away from Richardson’s house. The Browns said they are aware of the situation, but will not comment at this time.
