Bruins Control Own Destiny After Loss, Look to Clinch First Place in Northeast Division (Video)


The Bruins gave up another third period lead on Saturday night against the Capitals, dropping the match 3-2.

But the loss wasn’t completely detrimental to the B’s place in the Northeast standings. They take on the Ottawa Sentaors Sunday night in their final game of the regular season, and in a number of scenarios, the Bruins could still clinch first place in the division.

Even in the loss, head coach Claude Julien saw areas of improvement within his team that he was pleased with.
