The Bruins and Maple Leafs have long been rivals, and the latest chapter of that rivalry will be written beginning this Wednesday.

That’s when the puck will drop at the TD Garden, starting the first-round playoff series between the No. 4-ranked Bruins and No. 5-ranked Maple Leafs. Boston will host Games 1 and 2 before the series shifts to Toronto for Game 3 and Game 4. Games 5 and 7 will be back in Boston (should they happen), with a possible Game 6 at the Air Canada Centre.

Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday, Game 3 is Monday, May 6 and Game 4 will be on Wednesday, May 8. If necessary, Game 5 is Friday, Game 6 is the following Sunday and a Game 7 would take place the very next day on Monday, May 13.

Boston won three of four games against Toronto during the 2013 season.
