Bruins Show Energy, Heart But Falter on Penalty Kill in Loss (Video)

The Bruins gave up a 2-0 lead in the third period of Saturday night’s game against the Capitals and lost 3-2 in overtime. Head coach Claude Julien has been known to question his team’s hustle and effort after losses, but Julien praised his team’s energy after Saturday night’s game.

The area that was most detrimental in the loss was the B’s penalty kills, which they have struggled with throughout the season. With just one game left before the playoffs start, the Bruins are not dwelling on the past, but have their eyes on their next opponent — the Ottawa Senators.

The B’s take on the Sens on Sunday night for a chance to clinch second place in the Northeast Division.

Check out the video above to hear what Julien and his players had to say ahead of Sunday’s game.
