Boston will never forget the tragic events of Monday afternoon at the Boston Marathon, but they’ll also get plenty of reminders to always remember the unspeakable horrors.

Plenty of those will be on display Wednesday night at TD Garden, where the Bruins will play their first game since Monday’s events when they host the Buffalo Sabres.

One of the ways the Bruins will remember the victims and help the healing process will be to wear a special decal on their helmets. The Bruins will wear “Boston Strong” decals on their helmets, being the latest to join in the homegrown rallying cry.

The Bruins won’t be alone in honoring Boston on Wednesday. The Sabres will also wear ribbon decals as well.
