Bruins Wearing First Responder Hats During Warmups Rather Than Helmets (Photos)

The Bruins are honoring the heroes of the Marathon bombings on the ice before they take on the Penguins.

The B’s are wearing first responder hats rather than helmets for warmups. The team even threw some of the hats into the crowd as they were entering the locker room, according to NESN’s Mike Cole.

Check out the Massachusetts state police, Watertown police and Boston police hats the B’s were wearing in the photos below.
