A fan made up for the many empty seats around him Wednesday night by using the old beer-cup-catch on a Justin Smoak foul ball. He then completed the moment in perfect form, chugging his sudsy beverage with no regard to what could happen to his fine-looking coat. His cohorts at the game — and the broadcasters who got to witness the special moment — all seemed to know he would be the highlight of the Astros’ 8-3 win.
