Joel Hanrahan is back.

The Red Sox activated the right-hander from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday and sent Daniel Bard to Double-A Portland to make room on the 25-man roster.

Hanrahan, who is 0-1 with three saves and a 11.57 ERA, was on the disabled list since April 16 with a right hamstring strain.  He allowed two runs in two innings of rehab work with Triple-A Pawtucket over the weekend and will be available Tuesday night in Toronto as the Sox take on the Blue Jays

Bard allowed one run and one hit and walked two while striking out one in two relief appearances with Boston.
