Jose Reyes was carted off the field Friday night in Kansas City, and judging by reports, it did not look good for the Blue Jays shortstop.

Reyes attempted to slide into second base during the top of the sixth inning and turned his ankle awkwardly during the play. A very emotional and clearly in pain Reyes was then removed from the game.

The Blue Jays broadcast team mentioned that Kauffman Stadium does have X-Ray machines on location, and that’s a good guess of where Reyes is headed after this one.
