Most of the Patriots are still scattered around the country at their offseason homes, but several players are still showing their support for the Boston community in the wake of the tragic events that took place at the Boston Marathon.

One such player is recently re-signed wide receiver Julian Edelman, who joined actor Bradley Cooper in visiting bombing survivor Jeff Bauman at Boston Medical Center on Thursday. Bauman, a 27-year-old Chelmsford native, lost both of legs below the knees in the explosion. He appears in one of the incident’s most iconic photos alongside first responder Carlos Arredondo, whose heroic actions helped save Bauman’s life.
