Marc Savard Says Once Again He Doesn’t See a Comeback in ‘Near Future’

Marc Savard hasn’t played in an NHL game since Jan. 22, 2011, and it doesn’t sound like he’ll be playing again any time soon.

There haven’t been any rumors of a comeback or anything, but Savard took to Twitter on Tuesday to say that a comeback is not in the cards right now.

The Bruins center’s career may be over after concussions have forced him away from the game since 2011. Judging based solely on his tweets, it seems that Savard is in good spirits. He occasionally checks in with fans about the Bruins, and he’s been known to make predictions from time to time leading up to big games.

Savard was one of the many to weigh in on the Bruins’ acquisition of Jaromir Jagr, saying that he wished he could “suit up with one of the greatest players of all time.”
