Mike Napoli Looks to Build on Team-Record Power Surge Against Brad Peacock, Astros

Mike Napoli has had a historic month already with the Red Sox, and it’s not even over yet.

The Red Sox first baseman leads the major leagues in RBI, extra-base hits and doubles entering Saturday night’s game against the Houston Astros, and he broke the Red Sox team record for extra-base hits in a month on Friday. The most impressive part of his exploits, however, might be that he has three games left in which to build on them.

The task of cooling Napoli off will fall to Astros starter Brad Peacock, the owner of a 1-2 record and a 7.50 ERA through four starts in 2013. Felix Doubront takes the mound for the Red Sox in search of Boston’s fourth straight win.

NESN’s coverage kicks off at 6 p.m. ET with Red Sox First Pitch, and the game is expected to get underway just after 7 p.m. Check out the starting lineups for both teams below.
