For one play during Nebraska’s spring game, a 7-year-old boy was better than a Big Ten defense.

Jack Hoffman, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in April 2011, took the field for Nebraska red during the school’s spring game. Hoffman took a hand off from quarterback Taylor Martinez and ran 69 yards behind Cornhusker blockers for a touchdown. Nebraska’s entire team followed Hoffman into the end zone and lifted the young boy up to celebrate.

Check out the video below, and if something “gets in your eye” as Hoffman crosses the goal line, don’t be ashamed. It’s happening to everyone.
